- (This post is filled with materialistic opinions. You have been forewarned!)
Char and I went to the city yesterday for a quick Korean dinner.
We needed to use the washroom and the nearest one was David Jones'.
It was parked right next to the shoe department. I am very sure this was done on purpose.
Women go to washrooms to relieve themselves mentally too. When they emerge opinionless, the first thing retailers want those eyes on and feet in are shoes.
If there is one thing women can never have too much of, it's shoes.
Well, bags also but today we're talking about shoes so really, too many shoes are never enough!
Char and I were caught! By black flats with colourful ribbons (the top layer was orange!). By golden slip-ons. By metallic silver ones. By heaps of black shoes, flats, heels and all. By their matching bags.
The major let down was our financial status of course, especially when there was a sale going on and most of them were going for half price - which is still a hefty amount.
For every shoe we slip our feet into, we would have to slip out of our wallets hundreds of dollars.
Thank goodness most of the samples weren't my size so I couldn't see how nice it would actually be.
You know how when you try something you want, you tend to want it even more? So yes, I'm thankful I'm a 5/6 and they chose to display 7/8s.
But they are still SUPER lovely!
I've never seen so many shoes I love within just 10 minutes!
Even if I had the money to buy just one pair, I seriously cannot pick a favourite.
Right now, I'm still overwhelmed with lust.
How can my wallet say No to such pretty shoes!

- Today, Char and I:
- Attended Consumer Behaviour Lecture
We're at Week 10 currently, and he's lecturing about Week 8's intended topic.
It was the usual nothing-in-notes, nothing-in-textbook kind of lecture, with Pecotich bringing in experiences and movies and songs again.
So Char and I did some doodling. Ok more like me. I was sitting next to Zack and he was writing all these Chinese words so I started to write my Chinese name and all the characters I can remember. Something along the lines of "Hello how are you? My name is Cassandra. I am (age). I have a younger brother and sister." etc.
I did try to concentrate and take down some notes. Even with Cheech's loud whispering.
- Skipped Lecture for Intro to Finance (ITF)
I don't think I've skipped a single ITF lecture, even though I do have a clash with my E-Communications one.
Since day one, the importance of attending ITF lectures has been drilled into our minds by our darling seniors.
So even though we hated it, and the lecturer sucked, and we leave two hours later not understanding anyway, we still went dutifully.
But at lunch, Percy Pig told us her decision not to go, which is a surprise on its own because she's such an ITF freak! (Haha no la, she's just the most ITF-acquainted among all of us.)
Her reason being: She cannot understand Manapon's mumblings in the LT and would rather do iLect so she can rewind as she please.
Char and I thought so too and skipped. =D
- Celebrated Tim Two's (2) 21st birthday with the rest of the Tommy Morons.
21 shots to down and they were filled with quite yucky stuff like, as far as I know: apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, worchestershire sauce, french salad dressing, kitchen vinegar, beer, vodka, butter pieces, etc etc. And it's really etc cos there were so many other things added in.
He had quite a hard time drinking them all up and I felt quite guilty for suggesting whatever I suggested during dinner. But hooray for Tim Two cos he drank it all up. HOORAY!
We had the cake a while later. Carrot cake. Yummy.
Then had a sabo-session. Basically, Tim Two had to choose three girls and two guys; and he chose Tim One, Gen, Fabian, Melody and *drumroll* our very own, Char!
These five people had to have honey dripped on their ear lobe, nose, moustache area, neck and forehead respectively, and Tim Two had to lick it all up!
HAHA! The funniest part was seeing Tim One and Fabian squirm around. They had to be held down! After the, um, licking, each went to hide away. Haha!
Our dear Char was supposed to get her neck licked but cos she was ULTRA sensitive there *ooh* so we kinda put the honey on her forehead instead.
Then Tim Two got smacked with whipped cream really badly and he went around terrorizing clean people. One of whom was Percy Pig who had to bathe again.

- Char and I were walking to school just now.
We saw:
- A really cute Pan-Asian. The both of us silently took a glance for a 'vision feast'.
- A duck on the edge of the pavement above the pond. Char and I moved to the right, approaching the duck, and forced it to jump back into the pond. Char's suggestion.
We had:
- Consumer Behaviour tutorial. And can I disgustingly admit that I'm very attracted to my tutor, Brad Turner. Not in the lovey-dovey manner, but more like an interest to pay attention to him in class. I like the way he speaks. Full of passion, yet not overly enthusiastic. And he always has something to say about everything.
We did:
- Some doodling on each others' tutorial handouts. She drew a house and clouds and some farm animals and I drew her my renowned smiley face plus an elephant.
- Take notes down for each other. Really, while drawing on each others' papers.
END.
